Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Martin's prior work included 16 projects as a food and beverage entrepreneur dedicated to natural products. He founded two companies, First Renaissance Ventures and FR Global, that worked with startup firms and established companies planning growth expansion both domestic and internationally.
Prior to his focus on food, beverage and health innovation, he worked on multiple diverse ventures in green technologies and also in the defense, homeland security, and law enforcement sectors. Martin was also Senior Vice President, Commercial Legal Accounts at CACI - a multi-billion revenue, publicly-traded, defense IT and network solutions firm. During this time, he successfully integrated a host of new corporate, insurance and law firm clients and services into CACI's existing defense and government business group. Before joining CACI, Mr. Erim co-founded American Legal Systems (ALS), a legal computer systems firm.
Martin is an attorney and received his J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law, and a B.A. degree in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University. Martin is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and active in other organizations as a Board member and Adviser. He resides with his family in the Washington, D.C area.
Dr. Jack Vanden Heuvel
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Jack Vanden Heuvel directs the scientific messaging and interprets relevant research studies for the company. For the past 23 years, he has been on the faculty at Penn State University and is currently a Professor of Molecular Toxicology. In his academic role he serves as program coordinator of the Pharmacology and Toxicology program and Co-Director of the Center of Excellence in Nutrigenomics. To date, Dr. Vanden Heuvel has produced 104 peer-reviewed publications, been the lead editor and author of 3 books and written 30 book chapters. He is also co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of INDIGO Biosciences, Inc.
Dr. Richard Rosenbloom, MD
After earning doctorates in medicine and nutrition science, Dr. Richard Rosenbloom chaired the Department of Nutritional Medicine in a small hospital.
Two years later he entered the pharmaceutical industry, working for such companies as Asta Medica, Sanwa, and Endo Pharma. He first developed traditional drugs, but later followed his passion of developing nutritional and botanical therapeutics for a variety of disorders, such as leukemia, diabetic neuropathy, herpes, cachexia, and influenza.
Dr. Rosenbloom’s major collaborators have been from The University of London, developing a botanical anti-influenza formula, UMDNJ (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey), and the Howard Hughes Medical Center, developing a natural radio-protectant for the effects of ionizing radiation. Dr. Rosenbloom also developed an effective nutritional treatment for Prader-Willi Syndrome.
Chief Marketing & Communications Officer
Marielle Walter has ten years of professional experience managing research, communications and operations functions in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Marielle is based in Washington, DC, where she has energized communications platforms and advanced business operations of several social impact organizations as well as the World Bank. In recent years, she has dedicated her career to advancing the development and commercialization of 10+ innovative products in the natural product sector with the goal of improving public health and human prosperity. Outside of the office, Marielle enjoys spending time with her young daughter and traveling internationally to explore the world.
E-commerce & Technology Director
Vijay Lakshman is a veteran of software development, having successfully delivered 85 projects in deadline-oriented environments with budgets ranging up to $100MM. His expertise spans multiple development methodologies from Rapid Iteration to Agile in videogames, Edtech, and engagement for healthcare. He’s successfully raised over $15MM in equity funding and is comfortable operating as an executive / entrepreneur in both corporate and startup efforts. He is a proven leader, a straight-talker, and believes hard work is an integral part of any successful venture.

Douglas Goldstein is a dynamic executive with deep industry relationships and serves as an advisor to innovative biohealth and digital health companies including Alphyn Biologics: Trove Therapeutics; Palo Alto Health Sciences, Moterum Technology; care.ai, Inc. Ark.one Health, Inc.; and Life365.Health. Doug has served as CEO and Founder of Health Online, Inc. a first mover in SaaS e-care and e-commerce for health systems; lead innovator for the Ascension Health Exchange – a Quality Improvement Intranet for Ascension Health System; CEO of iConecto, Inc. a first mover digital health strategy and development serving health systems and life science leaders and served as the first Innovation Officer of the Inova Health System – Center for Personalized Health (which included institutes for Translational Research, Cancer, Genomics and Digital Health Investment). Doug has delivered 200 keynotes to 10,000 executive health leaders. He is the author of 11 books on technology and health management including: "Medical Informatics 20/20 - Quality & EHRs through Collaboration, Open Solutions and Innovation".
Project & Operations Manager
Laura has over eleven years of administrative, training, operational, and project/program management experience within the healthcare, healthcare IT, customer service, and clinical research arenas. A process improvement specialist at heart, she excels in optimizing business operations, budget, and processes to maximize profit, team efficiency, and productivity. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration: International Business, and a minor in Economics and Public Policy, from the University of Baltimore in 2015.
